The Department of Management Studies and Research Centre, KSSEM was established in the year 2010, offers an MBA and Research program affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University. The objective of the program is designed to develop analytical and strategic decision-making skills and to make the students proactive, innovative and competitive to face challenges in the Business environment. Our activities are focused towards developing viable business solutions and encouraging entrepreneurship with ethical values for a holistic development and employability.

The TRANSIT -TRP team provided quality training for the students of the 2nd semester of the MBA Department under the assistance of Training and Placement Department. Under this training program, students were offered Corporate Training which included Team building, MS- office software usage, communication, leadership and presentation skills (includes Creativity/ Collage), Corporate Etiquettes (like Professional, workspace and table manners) and goal setting along with active learning session. The training methodology was interactive as the trainers ensured that knowledge was not only disseminated but accurately perceived and understood by the participants. And in order to ensure this, trainers engaged participants in discussions and kept the forum open for feedback, queries, and suggestions. These discussions and interactive sessions were supported through training material such as pre and post-test, PowerPoint presentations and handouts on participatory planning.

The student coordinator were Likithashree ,Vijay , Thanusha , Kanchana, Bhagya & Sanjay. A fun hands on exercise session on Team Building was conducted in MBA Department by HR CLUB team . Team building is the process of strengthening bonds between members of a group for the purpose of more efficiently achieving the group's goals. Activities that promote team building can be as informal and casual as a shared meal, or as formally structured as a session led by a facilitator.

It was an amazing experience for the final year students (4th Sem MBA) where the students learnt in detail about the production and supply chain management of KMF. On 6th June Monday, first of all students came to college and then along with the faculties went to visit KMF Bangalore. Transportation provided by the college and arranged a college bus accordingly. After reaching KMF Ms. Shyamla (Marketing Manager) guided us for visiting each production division and explained the process as well. We are grateful to Ms. Shaymla and KMF for giving us an opportunity for enhancing our knowledge in this field.

The various statistical tools used were t- test, paired t - test, Z- test, Chi square, ANOVA, MANOVA were shown and guided to do in the SPSS software. Hands-on session was given to students to gain broader perspective of the project and also inputs were given to convert Empirical project into Research paper for Journal publication.
